Next Tuesday, October 2 at 8:00 pm, the classical concert of Trio Elegíac will take place at the Coll Bardolet Cultural Foundation. This trio is integrated by Antoni Bujosa (piano), Enrique Pastor (violin) and Biel Fiol (cello) will offer us a repertoire with works by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Piazolla and Pastor.
Antoni Bujosa began studying at the Conservatory of Music and Dance of the Balearic Islands. He was a student of Claudie Desmeules with whom he managed for two consecutive years was a finalist in the International Piano Competition Ciudad de Mallorca. He studied one year at Rotterdam’s Conservatorium and was a finalist in the Doolin Competition. Later he studied a year with the pianist Edith Fisher in Barcelona. She has received masterclasses from Juana McGregor, Julian Jacobson, Josep Colom and Andrew Jasinsky. He has performed in different places on the islands, Barcelona, England, Germany and the United States. As a composer, his works have been performed in Mallorca, Barcelona, Germany and the United States. He is currently a professor at the IES Pau Casesnoves.
Enrique Pastor is a classical violinist. He is a violin teacher at the Conservatory of Music and Dance of the Balearic Islands. In the year 2000 he started in the world music and the study of Jazz with the guitarist Martín Negro. From then on he joins different groups of different styles such as: Jaume Compte and Nafas Ensembe with the albums “Aliento”, “Tariq” and “Voda”, Martín Negro and Palma Ensemble with the album “Mallorquina Fever”, Pilgrims with the record “Pilgrims bluegrass”, Hot Gipsy Swingers and Jesús Pimentel.
Biel Fiol was awarded the extraordinary end-of-career prize at the Superior Conservatory of the Balearic Islands, receiving classes from professors Marçal Cervera, Sergi Boadella and finally J. Enrique Bouché. Simultaneously he also attended several master classes of renowned teachers such as R. Dubrowsky, Mariano Garcia, Atshuschi and J. Estegenga, among others. He has played with numerous orchestras such as Camerata Deià, Joven Baroque Orchestra or the University Choir, and collaborated with artists such as Ara Malikian, Christophe Coin, Rumiko Harada and Barry Sargent, among others, performing in auditoriums in Spain, France, England , Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan and the United States.
